Let's give this a shot

Well we're still in America, but getting closer to time to move to Turkey!  We're pretty excited about it, but there's still tons of stuff to do to get ready. 

.....thus I'm procrastinating by starting the blog.  I figure this will give us an easy way to share pictures & experiences about our time in Istanbul with family & friends (especially since not all of you are on facebook).

And yes I know the profile photo is currently one of us in Italy, but we didn't end up with any non-blurry photos of the two of us from our recon trip back in June. 

But, just to give you a taste, here are a few shots we did take while wandering around the city!
