Trains, Planes, Automobiles..

...for real.  I'm on a roll today, or rather Paul is taking a nice long nap, so you also get photos from our trip to the Transportation Museum from Tuesday.

My favorite was the room with the "how things work" display.  A whole bunch of household electronics and a host of engines from big to small, all with their guts on display with an interactive aspect so you could see how they worked.  Want to see what happens in your dishwasher?   Or how about a diesel engine? 

They also had a military section with a tank & several airplanes, a bunch of old cars, many boats, and a submarine (that we couldn't go on because Paul is not 8 years old yet).

 A pretty cool day.  Even better that it took place indoors in mostly air-conditioned rooms :-)
